Michael, it’s been three years such you left us so suddenly.  Some days it feels like a thousand years; other days it feels like it was yesterday.  We didn’t have the chance to say goodbye, to tell you how much we loved you.  I cling tightly to my firm belief that you are with Jesus, the Jesus that you asked into your heart as a child and talked about as a teenager.  I cling to the knowledge that God’s Word tells us that “every day is numbered before one of them came to be.”  We are each on God’s time table and not our own.  I know I will see you again in heaven.  I love you forever.  Mom

Son you will forever live in my heart, I will never forget or stop loving you. I will always remember the sweet little boy who climbed into my lap each evening to watch “Star Trek”, you loved that show. You also loved to play with Lego’s, you had thousands of those little things, you still liked to put the kits together even after you grew up. I’m so proud of the man you became and I know you would have been a great father, you were always good with kids. I miss you every day, I miss talking to you each day when you were driving to work, that time was very special to me. Love you forever son.

Michael Posey will be missed. His sudden and shocking departure at the early age of 25 makes it hard especially for Jessica and his parents, Denise and Gary. I met Michael a number of times in RI and I especially remember when he was about 10 years old, his fascination with a laser light I had shown him that had many changing images projected in bright light. Mike was usually a very happy child but was exceedingly pleased that his mother allowed him to have it as a gift. He was so excited to be able to have control over this intense light. On these dark days of adjusting I think of Michael having a awesome time shining warm radiant lights down on his loved ones to let them know his spirit is still with them. He would want all to celebrate his accomplished life and remember his outstanding example and warm memories. Peace be with you.
