Mary Jane Lombardo Starr, 71
Mary Jane Lombardo Starr, 71, of Lime St., Lancaster, died Thursday at Lancaster General Hospital.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Nickolus and Mary Assuntino Pastino Lombardo.
Mary worked for Conestoga View as a service assistant for 6 years. Prior to that, she was a housekeeper at St. Joseph Hospital and Congress Inn and worked on the assembly line at Hubley Toys, Schick, and Playschool. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and AMVETS Post 19.
Surviving are her children, Mary A., James R., Dennis M., J. Scott, Thomas W., and Brian K., all of Lancaster; and her sisters, Mildred Segro, Angeline Voci, Josephine, wife of Nicholus Celia, Sr., Clara, wife of Sheldon Bertz, and Marion Pautz, all of Lancaster.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St., Lancaster, on Wednesday at 11:30AM. Friends may be received at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, on Tuesday from 6-8PM with a rosary recited at 7:30PM and again on Wednesday from 10-11AM at the funeral home. Interment in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart Assoc., 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA17603, American Diabetes Assoc., 3544 N.
