Pegge will be sorely missed.  She was a beautiful person both inside and out.  She always put others first and had a positive outlook and approach to life, even when adversity struck.  My family and I feel blessed to have known her all these years (since 1966).  She was a role model for my three daughters growing up next door.  Alison even followed in her footsteps and also went to Muhlenburg. We will all treasure our fond memories of Pegge and cherish the beautiful jewelry she made for us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

I was so sorry to hear about Pegge’s passing. I first met her as my Spanish teacher at Progress School in Long Beach, CA in 1974. For years I hoped you all would move back to LB. I loved babysitting Dyan. Didn’t get to sit for Robin as you moved back to PA for the last time just after she was born. Pegge was one of my very favorite teachers ever and I’m so glad I got to keep in touch with her for as many years as I did. 35 years of Christmas letters! I’m sorry I didn’t get in touch with you sooner but I just discovered Pegge’s obituary today while exploring on line. Sorry to hear about her father as well. I still laugh about the time he and Mrs. V. K took Dyan and me to Disneyland and he was going to stop at Humdinger’s on the way home because he thought it was a "hamburger joint". It was a joint all right, but no hamburgers! And Pegge’s mom was trying to fix me up with the kid acting as the engineer on the Disney Railway! They also sent me flowers when I graduated from college. You have such a terrific family.

The Healy Family is very sad to hear of Pegge’s passing last June.  We just became aware of this after reading her Dad’s obituary in the paper this morning (2/2/11). We were very lucky to have Pegge as our next door neighbor on Prichard Lane. I always wanted to be just like her when I grew up.  She was such a beautiful, happy and positive person. I remember the V.K’s and Healy’s making a road trip up to a Muhlenberg footall game in approximately 1964. I was in 5th grade and thought it was so cool to go to the game and afterwards hang out in Peggy’s dorm room. Our love goes out to Bob, Dyan, Robin, Mrs.V.K, Marian and Ruth.
Take Care,
Mary Ellen Healy and Family

Bob,
I was quite saddened to learn of the passing of Peg whom I considered a very good friend and classmate at Muhlenberg, Class of 1968.  I had a wonderful conversation with Pegge at our 40th reunion held in June 2008 on campus. She was the same bubbly effervesant gal i remember on campus during our four years of undergraduate study. I know that you miss her deeply as the rest of her family and friends do as well, but take solace that she is in a better place with our lord and savior and through God’s blessing upon you, time will heal your wounded heart. I lost my dad and best friend 17 years ago very suddenly and my words to you above are what got me through. I also have fond memories of our friendship and playing on the ‘berg football team together. I am so sorry that this condolence is coming to you so late, however, i just found out that Peg had passed in the latest Muhlenberg Alumni publication. My best to you and your family and my heartfelt sorrow goes out to you for your and our loss of Pegge.

Sincere condolences,
Carl J. Pletenyik, Muhlenberg College Class of 1968 and ATO brother.

Dear Bob, Dyan and Robin,
We are so saddened to learn of Pegge’s death. We cherish our memories of her over the years, especially while the children were growing up and we always looked forward to her Christmas update. We pray you will find peace in your memories of such a kind and gentle person. We send our love from Maine, a place Pegge loved too. I’ll think of her as I look out over the beautiful Atlantic ocean.

I was saddened to hear of Pegge’s death!  I was a regular customer of hers, following her on the craft show circuit.  She was so talented!  I have many of her pieces and get compliments each time I wear her jewelry!  I will treasure it always!
So sorry for your loss!

I am so sorry for your loss.  I first met Pegge 25 years ago when a group of mothers established a co-op nursery school.  Pegge had wonderful ideas and great organizational skills. I saw her through the years as she grew her glass business.  A beautiful artist! So very sorry.
