I remember Mrs. Steiner as a very caring teacher. I had her for geography which was not my favorite subject but she made it fun. I also remember Mr. Steiner who was my marching band teacher. They were a wonderful couple who cared about their students. I know there will be stars in their crowns in Heaven. Shirley Waltz Menard (graduate of WHS 1960

To Sara, My sincere sympathy to you and your entire family on the passing of your mother. I remember kindly both of your parents for many reasons. Your dad was instrumental in my brother’s life and allowed me to play cymbals in the band. I don’t remember having your mom as my teacher but I remember her as a teacher, but mostly as your always kind mom. Since I am back in PA, I will try to get to the service for your mother and hopefully you will be there. Janie Markert
