Dan and Marcia’s Family,
We at Barrcrest haven’t known Marcia long, but our friendship as neighbors was someting to treasure.
Marcia and I had many thing in common – caring for others, love of language and literature.  I will miss her and our little “talks”.

Marcia and I became close friends when she began teaching at Holland Hall School in Tulsa, Ok.  She and her husband Tom and I hung around together and I sang at Tom’s funeral when he passed away.  Our friendship[ has continued for oveer thirty years.  I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of a wonderful friend, a great teacher  and passionate debate coach.  She sang in a couple of my choirs and now can join the choir of angels in heaven.

I feel as though I have lost a member of my family too!  The King & Ripper families have a long history and I treasure so many good memories of times spent together.  She has joined a band of angels for sure.

I was a teaching colleague of Marcia’s for the years she was at Holland Hall School in Tulsa, OK. I remember her fondly as a woman of great energy and special connection with her high school English and speech and drama students. My sincere condolences to her family.

I was so sorry to read on Facebook of Marcia’s passing.  She contacted me because we both worked at the University of Phoenix.  I was enjoying corresponding with her and reading her messages and wish we could’ve been friends for a longer time.  Her father and mine were very close friends.  My dad was Jimmy Bashline.  I so enjoyed reading her posts on Facebook and her e-mails.  Even for the short time I knew her, I could tell she was a remarkable lady. My condolences to her family and friends.

My prayers and thoughts are with you Julia and the rest of the family. I loved your mom’s spunk and enthusiasm. She was quite the role model. You were blessed with a wonderful mom. It is a very tough time for you all now but I pray God will comfort you during this time. God bless.
