We are so very sorry for your loss, Leslie was a special woman who the kids at Reidenbaugh Elementary liked very much. She was always kind and understanding to our daughter. Your family is in our hearts and prayers.

Fondly,
The Nolt Family

Dear Lorey Family,
My sympathy to each of you with the death of dear Leslie.  She has been on my mind since I first learned of her diagnosis.   What a brilliant, funny, terrific person, whether a mom, wife, nurse, friend, etc!

Leslie always said I "trained" her.   Her first school nurse position was a long term sub w/me in the Hempfield School District.  We worked so well together.   I will never forget the wonderful letter of accommodation that she wrote for me.

I looked forward to her comical poems about her beloved family @ Christmastime & missed it greatly this year.   She loved her "boys" so much & was proud to write about each of you.

Dear, sweet,  Leslie will be truly missed by all.
Sincerely,
Nancy Myers, nurse @ East Petersburg & Centerville Elementary Schools

I was very saddened to hear of Leslie’s passing. She was a wonderful school nurse and helped train me years ago when I joined the Manheim Township nursing team. My son was one of her students at Reidenbaugh (he is now 15) and Leslie used to joke that she thought he was trying to "date" her because he came to the health room so much. We had a good laugh over that. When I asked him why he made almost daily visits there (he was healthy as a horse), he replied, "because mom, she is SOOOO nice." I know she is caring for all the children in heaven. Rest in peace, Leslie.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this very sad time. Leslie was one of the most the fun loving, charismatic, and compassionate people I’ve had the honor of knowing. Students, teachers and administrators could be found daily in her office, seeking advice, telling stories, and laughing! She will be remembered with great fondness!!!!

Dear Don and sons – Your wife and mother was a special person.  She touched the lives of many people, especially the school children she served daily. Her unique sense of humor never failed to bring a smile.  She will always be remembered.

With sympathy,
Margaret Trimble
