Judith Mae Woodysheck, 88

Judith Mae Woodysheck, 88, formerly of Olde Hickory and Brethren Village, passed away at Hospice and Community Care in Lancaster on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Ina Mae Lee Woodysheck.

Judy was a lifetime resident of Lancaster, graduating from McCaskey High School in 1941. She retired in 1986 after a 42 year career at Armstrong World Industries in the Building Products Department.

Judy was a very caring, giving person, who enjoyed spending time with family and her many close friends. She also enjoyed skiing with the Lancaster Ski Club, watching sports, reading,  collecting art and gardening. She was a volunteer with Meals On Wheels and clerked for Conestoga Auction.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John Woodysheck.

Friends are invited to attend the graveside memorial service on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 10AM at Mellingers Mennonite Cemetery, Lincoln Hwy East and Greenfield Rd., Lancaster, PA.
