Joseph W. Pelsinski, 84

Joseph W. Pelsinski, 84, of Lancaster, died Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Ephrata Hospital.
Born in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of the late Joseph Francis and Sophie (Shalak) Pelsinski.
He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He was stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany, with Battery “A”, 63rd AAA Gun Battalion.
Joseph worked as a pipefitter for RCA for many years until his retirement. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and canoeing, his Corvette, and was an avid fan of the Big 33 Football Classic. Joseph enjoyed visiting with family and friends at the coffee shops in Lititz, going for walks with his dogs, and staying in shape. He continued to lift weights into his 80’s.
He is survived by his children: Leonard Pelsinski and his wife Tammy of Lancaster; Steven Pelsinski and his wife Colleen of Washington Boro; and Tanya Aston and her husband Todd of Millersville; 4 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Christine Fanale and her husband John of Lancaster.
It was Joseph’s request that no services be held.
