Condolences to the Family

August 06, 2016

I still miss you… Thinking of you today.

Please accept our condolences and sympathy. Jon and his Dad, Sam, and Mom were good friends of our family. We would all ride our dirt bikes down Jons lane when we were in high school.
I remember Jon breaking his color bone during a backyard football game and again during a bicycle accident. Both times, even though we all knew it had to hurt, we laughed hysterically.  Nothing but good memories and good times.
We are sincerely sorry for your loss and will pray that time will heal the sadness of Jon’s passing. He was a good sincere friend.

Sincerely,
The Mullis Family
Bill, Brenda, Brian, Matt, Rene and grandaughter Kaitlyn

My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of great lost.

Jon was a good friend of my brother, Bill Mullis and lived right up the road from us. He was at our house all the time. We had some really fun times. I remember both times he broke his collar bone that my brother talks about. The time playing football, he was tackled in the mud, not even on hard ground. And he laughed. We laughed alot during those fun high school years.

One year his dad, Sam brought a stereo to our house for us to ‘hide’ from Jon until Christmas. It was maybe October. We did everything we could to make sure we didn’t let him see it or tell him about it. Then came Christmas and it ended up the stereo was our’s from our parents all along. Jon & his dad were both in on it from the beginning. He was a great guy!

It is sad that he had to leave this life so young. I have lots of good memories of Jon and his mom & dad. My prayers will be with you.
In Sympathy,
The Sheetz Family,
Rex, Crissy (Mullis) Sheetz, Donald & John

I know Jon from when he was married to Brenda. We had many good times dancing country style for many years.  He was a nice guy and I’m going to miss him.

Hankie Bill

I didn’t know John very well, but he was a friend of my dance partner, Hankie Bill.  In early 2008 I totalled my brand new car of less than two weeks, and was having a tough time with the insurance agency trying to get them to declare it totalled.  John helped me to accomplish that, so that I could replace the car with another new one.  John did this for me, a person he didn’t know very well, even though he was on disability at the time and unable to work. I think this demonstrates what a kind-hearted person he was. I wish I would have had the opportunity to get to know him better.  His life was too short.
