Joanne F. Gantz, 73
Joanne F. Gantz, 73, of Manheim, died unexpectedly Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in Adamstown, she was the daughter of the late Melvin H. and Esther M. Leinbach Youndt. She was the wife of Clarence Lynn Gantz.
A graduate of Cocalico High School, she did bookkeeping and clerical work for various manufacturing plants and also worked part-time in retail. She was a member of Stehman Memorial United Methodist Church in Millersville. The focus of Joanne’s life was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family and keeping a lovely home.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Lynn, her children: Jeffrey R., husband of Karen Rutt of Middleburg, and Jane R., wife of Terry Keenan of Myerstown; three grandchildren: Amy S., wife of Jason Bauder of Akron, Joseph D. Keenan of Lititz, and Shane A. Keenan of Myerstown; great granddaughter Jaelynn Bauder of Akron and her brother Clifford L., husband of Audrey Youndt of Reamstown.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joanne’s memorial services which will be held at Manheim Grace Brethren Church, 333 E. High St., Manheim, PA, on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at 11 AM, with Rev. Jeffrey Dunkle officiating. Joanne’s family will greet friends immediately following the service during a luncheon at church. Interment in Stehman Memorial U.M. Church Greenfield Cemetery, Millersville, PA. Please omit flowers.
