Dear Family,
Janie was my first cousin and I wish we had lived closer so we could have spent more time together. She was beautiful both inside and outside. I have fond memories of her and her sister Ruthie. Her mother Elzada was like a second mother to me when I was growing up My prayers and condolencees to all of you. May God grant you peace in the difficult days ahead. Take comfort that she is free of pain and is now with her family and friends that have gone before her. Peace and understanding will come. She lives in all of you.
Love,
Tina Nelson and family

Miss Janey was a great member of our extended family. My mom JoAnna Williams thought of her as a sister and they remanined friends after the children grew up and moved on to their own lives. Our families will always be connected to each other, and I miss her cooking and her easy going ways. My deepest condolences to the family, I’m praying for you all and peace has come to your mom. God has taken many good people this summer but I know they are in a better place and in pain no longer.
I love you all and if you need anything, call Miss Jo.

Sending condolences and love the the family. Always a part of our family. “Marshall Street”. Everyone watched out for everyones children. “Miss Janie”, was like a second mother to our family. Beautiful lady, with an enormous smile! We would borrow a cup a sugar, flour from each other, and know, that, somewhere down the line, it would be reciprocated. She always would welcome us to a meal, like we were her own. You always knew where your children were, being, “taken care of, or disciplined” as needed. God has welcomed a generous, beautiful soul into His Heaven. “Miss Janie”, know this, we loved you, and we thank you, for allowing us to share your time here. God Bless the family at this time. Know she is at peace, and in the arms of our Lord. Anything we can do to support you, you know the number.
The Williams Family: “Miss Jo”, Charles Jr. (“Ducky”), Jennifer, Charmaine, and in Spirit, “Mr. Pidge” and “Cissy”.
