I am so sorry for the lose of your brother Jan. We haven’t been in touch for years, and this goes back almost 20+ years. His kind soul and habits was a reminder how a person should be in life. We will all, take with us a part of Jan’s life that will truely be part of him and us for our limited life on this earth. I can’t image the lost of an older brother. the only thing that helps me is that we all will meet again in a better place with GOD.

I was blessed to meet Jan in 1976 through my now husband, Chris:) Our family enjoyed MANY happy times with Jan and Becky over the years. We carry many great memories with us. As stated by many, Jan was a kind, compassionate man who was a big part in out journey in life. He will certainly be missed, but is at peace:) Blessings of comfort to all who knew and loved Jan.

I remember Jan’s off-beat sense of humor and I still have an ink drawing he made while we were in high school; I wonder, did he continue to draw with BIC pens?
I am sorry for your loss; Jan was a truly nice person.

My husband and I are so sorry to hear about Jan’s passing. He and Glenn enjoyed many fun times back in the late 70’s and early 80’s and even though they lost touch, Glenn always considered Jan a good friend. He will be missed. Cherish the memories and keep Jan’s spirit alive in your heart. Take care.

It leaves an empty spot in my heart to know that Jan is gone. We shared many times together throughout our lives, from junior high school to our fifties. We spent lots of time in the sun, on the ocean, and in the woods. We experienced life together as close friends and family. To Jill and Becky, I wish you both peace and closure in knowing that Jan is free now. May his love for all of us bind us in a moment that we all think of him at the same time, and remember the selflessness that he had, and his gentle and kind attitude toward others. I will miss my brother, but I will always love the memories and the life we dared at times to live. God bless all that loved Jan. We are not counted so much by the number of people we love, but by the number of people which love us. Live long & Prosper, “Dare to Live”

Dear Jill,
I was so sorry to read of Jan’s recent passing. It’s been years since I have seen either of you, but I have followed your lives somewhat by what has appeared in the newspapers, particularly your medical career. I remember Jan as a cordial and shy young man who seemed to enjoy school and had significant artistic talent. It looks as though he was able to parlay that talent into a career at Intelligencer Printing.
Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
