Jan was my mentor about 1971 when I first started with class , she was a brown belt, teaching for her black belt at the time.  She was hard on us but she was a great teacher!!!  We became friends over those years, Lost track, found her again about 15 years ago living just a few miles from my house!!!  I miss my friend, think of her often!!! God bless you Jan!!!  Hope you are having fun in heaven!!!  Love you, Lisa Bishoff

I thought of her today after so many years and decided to look her up….only to find this heartbreaking news! What a kind, loving soul who touched so many lives with her positive outlook and attitude. Even though it has been 23 years since I saw her last, I think of her often and it always brings a smile to my face! The world was a better place with Jan in it. What a sad day….GREG GORR  (Hollywood FL)

It is a sad time for everyone who knew Jan.  She and I first met in 1979 and she became one of my longest and best friendships. I knew Jan through high and low points – on other words – living life; and always with a laugh or smile.
In her professional life she enabled me to produce some of my best moments. All of this will forever be missed, but her smiles will live on.

We enjoyed getting to know Jan initially through our small business networking group, and then on a more personal basis. Jan introduced us to Turducken one Thanksgiving and I know we’ll never forget that holiday. 🙂 The lady sure knew how to laugh and have fun, and when we think of her, we will do so with a smile. She will most assuredly be missed in our corner of the world.
To her sisters, Andi & Denise: We are so very sorry for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families during this time.
