Condolences to the Family

August 30, 2016

Dear Rose and Family, I am saddened to read of Jim’s passing in St. Michael’s bulletin this past Sunday. You were faithful members of our parish for many years and we missed you after you left Scranton. I will share the obituary with Joe Hallberg and Alice Toman and realize Jim will be remembered in our prayers. I know you gain strength in the fact that Jim’s exemplary faith and devotion assures him heavenly glory. Take care and remember your heart will always have a place at St. Michael’s in West Scranton.  Sincerely, Bob McHale.

It was through my Jim that I met your Jim Rosie and I know how much you miss him already. I still read the daily prayer he sent to Jim and I a few years ago. His love of God and family was a great reminder of what a good man he was.
We were blessed to know him and I send my condolences to you all.

Uncle Jim always had a smile on his face and a hearty laugh. He was a gifted story teller and I  enjoyed his stories about life in Twin Rocks (Yes Aunt Rosie I really did). We had great times at family reunions in WV that I will alway cherish. May the Peace of the Lord’s Grace be with you. John Marshall

I worked with Jim at Hamilton Clock Company when I was employed there from 1977-1982.  He was a very nice man with a positive attitude.  My condolences to your family during this time of loss.
