Dear Janet and family,
We were so sorry to read about the death of Jim in the morning paper.  Please accept our condolences.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  May all the good memories you have of him and knowing that others care help to sustain you at this sad time.  Those who pass before us are forever in our hearts.
Asking God to comfort you in this time of loss…as only He can do.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Janet and Ken Smeltz

I would like to express my condolences to the Jim Showalter family. I was an Electrical Engineer for Armstrong World Ind. I was lucky enough to have Jim work with me on several Projects. He taught me how a project should be run and ran a very good crew of people to meet that end. I always enjoyed working with him. He always had a since of humor that lightened up some tense moments. He will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. My sincere condolences to the family.
Bob Palmer

Dear Janet and children,
I will forever consider you and Jim the epitome of a true "love story", having known both of you since way back in 9th grade.  Jim was one of the good guys of this world and though our paths did not cross often, he will remain in our memories as one with whom we were proud to have rubbed shoulders with during our lifetime.
Janet, our thoughts, prayers, and love are with you and your family.  Always remember, it was YOU who made his life happy and fulfilled.
With love and friendship,
Jim and Jean Keener Silvius

I was so sorry to hear of your loss.  It was a pleasure to get to know him.  May it be of some comfort knowing that you are in the loving thoughts and prayers of those who care very much about you.
