I’m very sorry to read of the loss of your beloved wife and mother, sister, and grandmother. And I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I hope these verses will bring you some comfort. Acts 24:15 promises “that there is going to be a resurrection.” By reading John 11:11-15 comfort can be found because there Jesus speaks of his friend Lazarus’ death as “sleep” and that he is going to “awaken” him. Then in verses 34-44; Jesus resurrects Lazarus back from this sleep of death to life again! – to the joy of his family and friends! This gives us hope to see our loved ones again through the resurrection! Then older loved ones will grow younger again as Job 33:25 assures “Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor”- just as looking through photos reversing age back to being a young woman again! And then as Isaiah 33:24 tells us: ‘no resident will say: “I am sick.'” Revelation 21:4 promises “And (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” – Just imagine -a world with no tears of sorrow, no pain, and no death! Then the prayer for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven will be fully realized! – Matthew 6:9, 10 Take care, and I hope that your memories will bring you comfort and sustain you until the time for the resurrection. And I hope these verses and others from the Bible will bring you comfort too.(www.watchtower.org has more comfort by typing “comfort” in the search box on the site) Sincerely Yours, Cindy (Eberly) Boyer
