Dear Girls – former neighbors,

Your family lived next door to us in Conestoga years ago.  What I remember most about Greg was his kindness to me.  When my husband left me – living in Conestoga without a vehicle – Greg took me into Lancaster every day and dropped me off at a florist shop on S Queen St on his way to work at Amtrak.  From there, someone else picked my up about 1/2 hr later so I could get to work.  Without that job, I would have been "sunk".  Greg’s kindness during that period of my life was literally a lifesaver. Your Dad often talked about you during those trips, and I know how very much he loved you.

Love, Light and Peace,

Tanya HORN West

Rebecca and Rachael,

Time flies by and we really need to take the time to keep up with our past memories.  Hearing of Greg’s passing was so sad.  61 years old is too young.  Gary and I send our prayers and heartfelt sympathy to you girls.  Life’s dynamics change so much when you don’t have your parents.  Love you both.

Gary and Patti Reiter

My deepest condolences at this time of sorrow. Greg’s spirit is free now. He will live in our hearts forever.

Sorry to hear about your loss, please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace.

Our sympathy  to the entire family. We thought a lot of Greg and always were amazed by his many talents. We fondly remember our time spent together.

I am typing this email from my office, and as I look around I see Greg and his handywork all over. It was almost 20 years ago when Greg would come here after work at Amtrak and finish my office (trailer). The office was a construction trailer which Greg transformed into a comfortable and efficient work environment. Of course there were other things in our old house. We were neighbors in School Valley Farms. Greg finished off our laundry room and made a nice sewing room for Deb. I still remember carrying 2 by 4’s behind the house in about a foot and a half of snow. That didn’t stop Greg from getting the job done. We have such fond memories and we will miss him.
