Glykeria “Glee” Swords, 67

Glykeria "Glee" Swords, 67, of 12 Foal Court, Lancaster, died on Monday, May 29, 2006, at Essa Flory Hospice Center.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Russell H. Clawges and Rose Clawges Gaul. Glee was married to Herman G. Swords for 47 years. She owned the John-Matthew Art Center Market Stand at Saturday Market. Previously, she had a market stand at Park City.  Mrs. Swords helped her husband with Swords Tax Center for 32 years. She was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Lancaster.

Surviving besides her husband is a daughter, Gale Swords-Romig, wife of Robert Romig of Eveleth, Minnesota; a son, John, husband of Delia Swords of Lancaster; two grandchildren: Jennifer Martin and Sarah Martin; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Matthew Allen Swords.

Funeral services will be held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave. Lancaster, PA on Friday at 1:30PM . Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster.
