Francis J. “Frank” Glick, 84

Francis (Frank) J. Glick, 84 of Lancaster died on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at his home. Born in Cumberland, Maryland, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Helen R Wieseckel Glick. He was the husband of Loretta Myers Gray Glick and they celebrated 25 years of marriage on January 5^th, 2011. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Caroline Glick.

Frank was an electrical engineer with Armstrong and retired after 30 years of service. He  was a member of the Pennsylvania and Maryland Professional Registered Electrical Engineers.

Frank served in the US Army during World War II from 1944-1946 and served eight years in the Army reserves from 1946-1954.

He was a member of a St. Philip the Apostles Catholic Church in Lancaster.

Surviving besides his wife are three sons: Francis (Frank) J. Glick Jr. husband of Jeanne Glick, Columbia, PA, Donald husband of Stephanie Glick, New Holland, PA, Paul Glick, Lititz, PA, one daughter, Sally wife of Darryl Albrecht, Medina, Ohio, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two sisters: Jane wife of Charles Wobbeking, and Sister Mary Margaret Glick, SND, both of Baltimore, MD.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Rev. George William Glick and a sister, Ann Elizabeth Glick.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Philip the Apostles Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 10:30AM with the Rev. Mark Weiss and Rev. Michael Culkin, as CoCelebrants. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Frank’s memorial to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O.Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
