Esther M. Lentz, 23

Esther M. Lentz 89, of Lancaster, (wife of the late William A. Lentz Jr.) went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Elizabeth Fischer Jenks.

Esther enjoyed reading, yard sales, find-a-word and crossword puzzles. She especially was fond of her cats. She was proud to be a member of Sunnyside Bingo group. She was of the Lutheran faith.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Esther Lentz and Linda Ciotti, both of Lancaster;  3 sons: William A. Lentz III of Lancaster,  James Lentz of Rheems and John Lentz of Lancaster;15 grandchildren, 23 greatgrandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren and a brother William Jenks of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Louis Aponte.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday August 4, 2011 at 11AM from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602 with Pastor Keith Rohrer officiating. Friends may view at the funeral home between 10 and 11AM. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery Lancaster, PA. Flowers will be received. The family asks that contributions be made to Charles F.
