Elizabeth “Betty” Baumler Eisenberger, 90

Elizabeth “Betty” Baumler Eisenberger went to be with her Lord at Conestoga View on Saturday, July 26, 2104, in her 91st year. Born and raised in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Elizabeth Geiger Baumler. Betty’s husband David E. Eisenberger died in 1993.

Betty lived in Lancaster and then Strasburg before moving to Conestoga View. She worked as a lab technician in the small power tube department at RCA for 43 years, retiring in 1986. Betty was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, lunch with the girls and was an avid game show watcher.

Betty is survived by her daughter Patricia Shirk, wife of Robert, of West Columbia, SC, son David Eisenberger, II, husband of Bernadette, of Harrisburg, son Dale Eisenberger, husband of Cathy, of Strasburg, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband David, Betty was preceded in death by her daughters Phyllis Eisenberger and Mary Esbenshade, brothers William and Joseph Baumler and her sister Margaret Hess. Betty was the last of her immediate family.

Services will be private with burial in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 East Orange Street, Lancaster, PA 17602.
