MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY OF ED McDONALD.  HE WAS A GREAT MAN WHO WILL BE MISSED AT THE POLKA PARTIES, PICNICS, AND MANY OTHER EVENTS. THE LAST TIME I SAW HIM WAS AT A PICNIC AT SAINT BENEDICT’S GROVE AND HE WAS STRUGGLING TO MOVE ABOUT.  AS I WATCHED HIM, DETERMINED TO INTERACT WITH HIS MANY FRIENDS, I FELT MUCH ADMIRATION FOR THIS MAN WHO LOVED PEOPLE AND PEOPLE COULDN’T HELP BUT LOVE HIM.  YOU ARE GONE BUT WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN BY THOSE WHO LOVED, RESPECTED AND ADMIRED YOU.

Sorry for your loss… No one nicer than Mr McDonald. He always had a great big smile on his face and gave a great friendly polka hug… We will miss him dearly.
