Aunt Rainy,

I was sad to hear of your passing. What a "BLESSING" you were to everyone who knew you. My mom adored you and I know she was waiting at the gates of Heaven to greet you. Give Mom and uncle Ditz my Love and have a wonderful celebration of the LORD’S Birthday.

Love your niece, Tina Markley Woodward

To my sweet and beautiful Mother – Mom, I don’t even know where to begin. As far back as I can remember, you have always been there for me. Whether I was a little girl coming home from school to your smiling face and our house filled with the aroma of a delicious dinner; or a teenager rushing about with my own life while you painstakingly and lovingly took care of Dad while he was ill; or when, in my twenties we became best buddies who loved to spend time together. You supported me unfaltering during the breakdown of my marriage…sometimes you were the only one I could turn to. I remember you telling me of how you joyfully skipped down the hallway at work when you found out that Darby had come into this world…your only granddaughter. You and Darby had such a wonderful and close bond that she will never, ever, forget you. I’m sorry that you had to suffer through so much pain during your lifetime. But I will try to only remember the joy and happiness. You touched so many hearts and souls while you were here with us, and I know that you are at peace now. Please give Dad, Grandma Markley, and Greta a big hug and kiss for me. I love you so much, Mom. And I will never forget you. I know that you are around us, we just have to open our hearts and minds to feel you here. – Love you always, your daughter Ann.

We were so sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing. Since we are unable to attend the services we wanted to let you know we are thinking of you all in this time of sorrow. You are all in our thoughts and prayers!

To my cousins, Cindy, Rick, Danny, Sue and Annie,
I am so sorry to here of Aunt Rainey’s passing. Fond memories of her will always be with me. I will not be able to be with you on Friday, but my healing prayers will be there for you.

Love
Cheryn

I would like to express my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Doris Schlegelmilch — one of the most generous and self-sacrificing people that I came to know.  Words cannot express how much our family appreciated her caring of and friendship with my departed mother, Romaine "Sally" Jacobs,a fellow resident of Lancaster House North.  The entire Lancaster House North community has lost an angel.  Godspeed to you Doris.  Say hello to my mom — I am sure she will be so happy to see your smiling face again and share a swing together.

Jesse Jacobs

to all in the schlegelmilch family, may doris rest in peace, and may god bless her soul. doris was one of the nicest people i have ever met in my life, and i will surely miss her.

Dear family – It is a sad holiday, and I share in your sadness at the loss of your Mother. It is ironic that my own Dad died a few days after your mother on Christmas day – I noticed the name on the list of obituaries. May you find comfort in each other and in the memories of a life well spent.

Love,
Mary Eckenrode Gibson
