Donald Earl Peterman, 83
Donald Earl Peterman, 83, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his home in Bella Vista. He was born on November 29, 1927 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to George Peterman and Anna Beyer Peterman.
He moved to Bella Vista twenty-two years ago from Grand Island, Nebraska and New Holland, Pennsylvania. He was a former member of New Holland Jaycees. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus; Blood Drive Volunteer; St. Bernard’s Men’s Club; and was a volunteer at Veteran’s Hospital.
He was preceded in death by one brother, George Peterman, and two sisters, Bertha Hershey and Betty Heiselman.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Kauffman Peterman of Bella Vista, Arkansas; two sons, Andrew Peterman and wife, Kathleen of Lititz, Pennsylvania; Michael Peterman and wife, Victoria of Lincoln, Nebraska; two brothers, Richard Peterman of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Charles Peterman and wife, Gail of Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania; six sisters, Emma Baker of Lititz, Pennsylvania, Ethel Lyle of Lititz, Pennsylvania; Thelma Morris and husband, Robert of Belton, Missouri, Marian Stark of Lititz, Pennsylvania, Dorothy Dosch and husband, Martin of New Holland, Pennsylvania; Romaine Hohenwarter of Willow Street, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kimberly (Tadesse) Bahata, Joanne (Jason) Adams, Valerie (Kevin) Adams, Douglas (Katie) Peterman, Chris (Kathy) Peterman, Patrick (Tammy) Peterman, and Stephen Peterman; and great-grandchildren, Kelley and Justin Bahata, Trenten Peterman, Jordan and Landen Adams, Caiden and Lyra Peterman.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, PA with Father James O’Blaney, C.Ss.R. as Celebrant.
