David A. Rineer, 60

July 04, 2015

David A. Rineer 60, of Lancaster went to his Home in Glory on Saturday, July 4th 2015 at the Easton Hospital in Easton, PA. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Edward A. and E. Mildred (Klein) Rineer. He was married to Deanna (Shaub) Rineer for over 21 years.
David was a 1972 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School. He proudly served in the US Air Force as a plumbing specialist. Dave was employed by RR Donnelley for many years driving a hoist in the warehouse. When he was in better in health, David was a member of the Lancaster Liederkranz, where his late grandfather Cuno Klein had served as president. Dave enjoyed reading, detective novels, doing word puzzles, and watching movies. His all-time favorite film was Captain York. David loved animals, especially cats. He had a sharp memory for detail, which came in handy for passing along family history. He was a big fan of classic rock from the 60s and 70s. Affectionately known as “Big Dave” to his friends and family, he could always come up with a joke or funny story to make folks laugh.
In addition to his wife Deanna, Dave is survived by a brother, Kenneth Rineer of Madison, WI, a sister, Correen Russo wife of Dr. Marc Russo of Lititz, and loving nieces and nephews.
A Viewing will be held from 9:30-11:30AM followed by a Service conducted by Rev. Kerry Leeper on Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Ross Street United Methodist Church, 312 E. Ross St, Lancaster, PA 17602. Condolences to the Family

July 08, 2015

Dear Rineer Family,

I would like to extend my condolences to your family. May this add to the comfort you receive from family and friends.

God promises that by means of a resurrection we will soon welcome our loved ones back – happy and healthy. (Revelation 21:3,4) May this promise also give you hope and strength during this extremely difficult time.

Again, I offer my deepest sympathies.

Sincerely,

L. Cornish
