Dale is going to be missed at the fur shop, I will miss making fun of his small beavers. But I will always remember him coming saying, I had to catch Deb a big one. We’ll miss him.

Dear Cheryl,
Such a super guy to have left us all, way to soon. It is a great tribute that Dale left behind in his many projects for all of his friends and family. A true outdoorsman and kind friend. He will be remembered and thought of with a smile on our faces and gentleness in our hearts.

Cheryl, so surprised and saddened to read about your loss.  As the few times we were lucky enough to meet Dale,  he seemed to be just the right answer.  If we can be of any help to you or the kids, please call.
Rod and Marge Struble

I knew Dale from working at Amtrak. We both enjoyed talking about hunting, so we talked about it a lot.  I’m very sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you.
I can not make the service because of a prior commitment, but again I say I am very sorry for friends and family.

We are sorry for your loss.  Dale was a great co-worker and friend to us.  Dale was a great help to us when we were building our house and our concrete driveway.  We will miss him very much.

I worked with Dale since 1977 at Amtrak. Dale was a fun guy to be around, a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.

I was so saddened to learn of Dale’s passing. Through much of our twenties, he and I were together almost every day. We worked together and partied together. Our young families shared a home together along the river, in Pequea.
But time goes on, and as people relocate, find new occupations, new interests, they sometimes lose track of one another, as had happened with Dale and me.
I last saw him about six years ago, just by chance, as I was driving by his home while on a visit to my old stomping grounds among the River Hills. We talked for some time. We reminisced, we laughed. He was as always, the same warm and easy Dale.
I will not forget that warmth and easiness. Nor will I forget his devotion to his family; his work ethic and dedication to craftsmanship; his unique, dry wit and sense of humor; his love of hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and the place in which he lived. I won’t forget our friendship. I won’t forget his smile.
My condolences to all. He will be dearly missed by many.
