Losing a dear loving, caring husband of so many years is hard. May you Sue and your family find comfort now and in the days ahead. Isaiah 25:8 “God will swallow up death forever…” Hope is what the Bible provides.

Sue and Family,
We have been out of town and were deeply saddened to hear the news about Clyde.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  We considered you our second family at Lititz UMC and have fond memories sitting next to you or behind you at the 9:00am service.   Having adopted children of our own, we always felt we had a connection with Clyde and his childhood.  Clyde will be truly missed by all of us and will be in our heart and minds.  Please accept our condolences.

Thoughts and prayers are with you & your family, Sue, especially your son – Steven’s family.  It was so special knowing & working with you & Clyde over the years; loved our school socials.  I remember when the State High 10th grade Annex English & Social Studies teams had a fun baby shower for Clyde; it was embarrasing to admit that I had to bake my pistachio pound cake twice because I forgot the eggs the first time.   You were blessed to have such a wonderful best friend and husband.  Take care.

Sue and Steven,
My sincere condolences to you on the loss of a wonderful husband and father. Your family was part of many of my best childhood memories – playing in the summer house in your back yard, home made ice cream after picnics, and even the drive in theater when Clyde took my sister and I, Skip and Scott and Steven to see Bambi. I wish I had the right words to take away your pain.  Just know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

My daughter enjoyed Clyde as a a history in the State College High School.  I was a fellow teacher and enjoyed him as well.
I’m sure many students and teachers appreciate the help and his smile he gave to all.
