My wife Irene graduated from McCaskey with Chris in 1942, and I had the pleasure of enjoying his company over the years at the Lancaster YMCA swimming pool.  Other people who got to know Chris at the Lancaster YMCA have been asking about him for several months.
Please know that we all miss him and join your family in fond remembrance.

You don’ know me but I am the daughter-in-law of Mary Pavlides Crews.  She was the sister of Chris Pavlides.  We are in the middle of doing our family tree and that is how I found out about the death of Chris.  My husband’s name is John Haskins.  I did want to express my sympathy to your family.  If you would like to get in touch with me you can send a email to haskinsmom@aol.com.  It seems that John has relatives that he has never met before.
