There is a better life beyond this one.  That’s what holds us together at a time like this.  If he was half the man his son is, that’s enough to have the assurance of the life that is beyond.

To: Nancy, Charlie, Tim, Ken and Gary.

Carol and I both express our sympathy to you all at this time.  We certainly can empathize with you.  These are the times to reflect on all the wonderful times that were had with your husband and father.  In so many things in life, I see that Johnny Mercer’s song of years ago–We’ve got to Accentuate the Positive and Eliminate the Negative. Don’t mess with Mr. In between–is fitting.  I remember well the many times that Charlie would be telling about a humorous incident and the expressions he would use as he related all the details about it, his very creative art work and his duties and activities as a Game Warden.  I always enjoyed the times we shared with Charlie in family get togethers. We will miss Charlie and pray that he rests in peace.

May you all be richly blessed as we continue on in life until that day when we can all join together to celebrate Eternity and our existence in His Heavenly Kingdom.

With Love and Sympathy
Bud Truxal

Charlie and Lisa,
I know how you devoted yourselves to your dad during the last few years in seeing that he had quality care and in being there for him as he struggled with the changes in his life.  Now I pray that you and the whole family may find peace and harmony in sharing grief and finding solace.  May God grant all of you the peace that does pass understanding.  Let that peace like a river flow gently in the coming days.
