Jim, my condolences to you and your family.

I served with Charlie on the East Lampeter Township Emergency Services Committee since its beginning several years ago. I considered him a true friend and an ardent supporter of the volunteer fire companies here in our local community. Through his insight and ideas he was instrumental in much of what was accomplished in recent years on behalf of the fire companies. We at the Lafayette Fire Company owe him a true debt of gratitude. He will be very much missed and even harder to replace. Thank you for sharing him with us these last several years. We share with you in your loss. May the peace of God be always with you in the days ahead.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. Charlie was such a pleasant person. He would visit Vallorbs to speak with Rick Steudler and was always happy and vibrant. I will certainly miss seeing his smiling face.
