My deepest sympathy to family and friends of Carmie. My brief time of knowing Carmie through the Healthy Woman Program revealed a strong, compassionate and courageous young lady.

My Condolences,

Ethel Wander, RN

I grew up with Carmie and played softball with her on the West End team before high school. Although I have not seen Carmie in a long time, she was always a positive influence, and always saw the bright side of things. I am sorry for your loss,

Elizabeth "Beth" Deaner Hershey

My deepest sympathy to you, Tia and family.  I used to work with Carmie and remember her kind, compassionate spirit.  We also played softball together at BV, and she kept up with the best of us even though she was going through a tough time.  I am sorry I am unable to attend Carmie’s service but I am truely thinking about you all.  May God Bless you all during this difficult time.  Just remember she will always be looking down upon you.  She is gone but will not be forgotten.  Knowing she is no longer in pain is a true blessing.
Sincerely,

Jen Gerlach

Tia & LaRea,

May God’s peace and Love surround you during this most difficult time.  I met Carmie and LaRae at Lanc. Cancer Cntr during my treatment there.  I am so sorry to hear that Carmie passed away.  I will keep up the "fight", but it hurts when someone in the "ring" with you is no longer there.  In the short time I knew & talked to her, I could tell she was a wonderful person. May her love and memories continue to inspire those left behind.
