Shelby and Little Families,
I am so sorry for your loss – I just heard about Becky’s passing.  Becky was such a wonderful, fun, beautiful, energetic,and loving person.  Such fond memories of HS, college visits, planning weddings together, and visits with my new born Zachary in tow.  The last time we were together was at our 20th high school reunion.  We sat together and had a blast just like HS.  We hadn’t been together for a long time but it was as if no time had passed when we saw each other again.  Becky and Jody had just had Jackson and talked about Caroline and Morgan non stop!

I am so sorry to hear of Dr Shelby’s passing. She was my dentist since I was about 16 and she was always so pleasant and nice. While I didn’t floss as often as she would’ve liked, I never minded visiting the dentist once I started going to her practice. Even the root canal she gave me wasn’t a painful experience. It is a shame to see such a positive person leave us so early. She always remembered me and I’ll always remeber her. I am so sorry for your loss.

What incredibly sad news. I’m a former patient of Dr. Shelby’s of almost 20 years, first in New Holland and then in Lancaster. I can honestly say that I didn’t mind going to the Dentist, and she was the main reason – she could even light up an examination room. Her oldest child and my son were born within a few months of each other and we kept up on the kids’ progress over the years even though my mouth was usually full of dental instruments. I regretfully stopped going to the practice due to insurance network issues but was hoping to go back at some point. Unfortunately it won’t be the same without Dr. Shelby. The family is in my prayers.

Dear Jody, Caroline, Morgan, Jackson and extended family, We heard the news of Becky’s passing over the weekend, while away visiting with family, and our hearts are filled with deep, deep sorrow for all of you now and in the months that follow. “How do we as mere humans bring any form of comfort to you at this time of such great loss?”; we don’t but we try by sharing that our pleading prayers are sent to our Great God for His extreme care and Comforting Help to all of you in the days that follow!!! I met Dr. Shelby when I was receiving dental treatment from her several times. She was so kind, funny, cheerful and friendly that I looked forward to seeing her even though I was not fond of going to the dentist. Dr. Shelby was a joy. I was very sad to learn ofDr. Shelby’s’ passing. she always made me feel at ease and had the most gentle touch. I loved her laugh and her love for her family was evident in how she glowed, when she spoke of them. I am stunned as I’m sure all of you are. My heart breaks for you. I loved coming to your house to help Kim with the kids, the dogs. You are all such a beautiful family. Becky was such a great dentist, with a kind heart and a maga watt smile. She was also very supportive of me through my cancer recovery. Gave me free tooth products since chemo is so hard on bones/teeth. I’ll never forget my joy and surprise when she and the s kids showed up at my cancer-free party.   I enjoyed being with all the children, but especially got to know Jackson as he came along to the farm with Kim.  My deepest sympathy to all of you, and prayers as you work to live your lives without Becky.
