Brenda S. Sharpe, 44
Brenda S. Sharpe, 44, died at her home in Lancaster on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009. She was the wife of John J. Sharpe since May 2001. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Alyce Cortese Magluilo of Lancaster and the late Patrick A. Magluilo.
A homemaker and devoted mother to her son Johnson, she was of the Catholic Faith.
In addition to her husband, son and mother, she is survived by a sister, Patricia, wife of Eugene McHugh of Hatfield, PA; brother, Anthony Magluilo of Lancaster; brother-in-laws, Donald Sharpe of Carlisle and William Sharpe of Lancaster; sister-in-law, Tina Sharpe of Charlotte, NC; cousin and best friend, Ellen (Volland), wife of George Meagan of Paramus, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 119 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA, with The Reverend Leo M. Goodman, III as Celebrant. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Viewings will take place at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 East King St., Lancaster, PA, on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Christian Prayer Service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday at 7: 30 p.m. To send online condolences please visit snyderfuneralhome.com
