Brandon A. Rico, 22

October 07, 2016

Brandon A. Rico, 22, of Newmanstown, formerly of Lititz, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 7, 2016 after being involved in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Lancaster and was the son of Barbara M. (Rico) Wagner, wife of Robert W. Wagner, of Lititz, and Raymond A. Rico, of Johnstown, PA.
Brandon is survived by his fiancé, Stephanie A. Krzak. They were engaged on January 9, 2016, and a wedding was planned for May 2017. They were Warwick High School sweethearts and had a six-year relationship.
Brandon graduated from Warwick High School in 2012, and attended Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.
Brandon was very proud of his Acting Foreman and Lead Fabricator role with Uhuru Design, a custom furniture business based in New Holland. He also was known for his welding skills.
Brandon was an avid outdoorsman, and loved hunting with Steph, his younger brother Eric, as well as other family members and friends. He enjoyed big game, small game, archery, and his annual snow goose hunts, in addition to shooting and fishing. He loved photography and country music, especially Eric Church, as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins, and Jeeps. He was a member of the Lititz VFW.
Most of all, many will remember him as a very kind soul with a big spirit who was a great friend to all, and loved his family dearly.
Surviving in addition to his parents and fiancé; are three brothers, Eric W. Rico, of Lititz, Michael A. Wagner, of Lititz, Brandon M. Wagner, of Stevens, paternal grandmother, Rhoda Papcunik, wife of Tom, of Johnstown, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Florence and Wayne Himes, and paternal grandfather, Raymond Rico.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to honor Brandon at a viewing on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike. Dear Rico family and Stephanie, we are so sorry to hear about your loss.  Just met Branden a few times and was very happy that Stephanie found such a great person.  Although, they did not spend a long life together, they did have many good times.  These times should be remembered and cherished.  Live each day as it would be your last and enjoy life.  Every day is a gift.  God Bless the Rico family and also you Stephanie. My prayers are with you at this time.   John and Rosemary Kasperek  (Larry Krzak cousin from Buffalo NY.

Brandon had become a big part of my family.  He was not only a friend but a brother to Alex and Tanner and like a son to me. For two and a half years I watched him and Steph live, love and laugh (sometimes even fight) but always love everyday.  I know this was not long enough to have him here with us but know that he was embraced by family and friends everyday with love.  He will forever be in our hearts and a part of my family.  We love you Brandon.
Our deepest sympathy and love to Steph, Barb, Bob, Eric and family.
Nadine, Alex and Tanner Condie
