Betty R. Garber, 80
Betty R. Garber, 80, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late S.G. “Pat” and Ada H. Griest Mulligan. Surviving is her loving husband of 62 years Carl W. Garber.
Betty attended J. P. McCaskey High School, and worked in sales for the former H.L Green, Hubley Manufacturing Company and RCA. She was Past Matron of the Lancaster Chapter No. 501 Order of Eastern Star, which merged with the James Buchanan Chapter No. 315 Order of Eastern Star, and also Past Matron of the Alta Shrine No. 38 White Shrine of Jerusalem. Betty loved to make crafts, especially needlework.
Order of Eastern Star Services and burial in Conestoga Memorial Park will be private. Please omit flowers.
