I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Last month I lost my dear mother, and found great comfort in the words of Jesus at John 11:11-14, where
he likens death to being asleep, and at John 5:28,29 – “All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”  For more comfort,
I turn to the website: www.jw.org (search – comfort)    Dennis Mathewson , Harrington,Delaware

I loved your mother and father. We worked together at Rea and Derrick many years ago. I was a student working there as a cashier. I didn’t want to spend money on lunch, so your Dad made me boiling water to go with my tea bag and let me eat my baloney sandwich at the counter. Your Mom and I were both cashiers. Your Mom was a hoot – so warm, friendly and funny. She will be missed by all. What wonderful people your parents were. Peg Kay

Betty was such a sweet, attentive, caring lady. It was a pleasure to get to know her. Through her marriage to my grandfather, she quickly embraced her new extended family with fun, loving attention. She was wonderful to have there after my grandfather passed away, and was always quick to take my hand, and remind me what I meant to my grandfather (Pop).

Terri, my very deepest sympathy in the passing of your mother.  What a lady she was.  My last memory of Betty is dancing at a Valleybrook pool party.  Her purse was swinging away on her arm and she was having the time of her life.  My thoughts and prayers are with you Terri.

I have many fond memories of times spent with Mrs. J. while growing up. I loved that my mom’s best friend lived so close and was always a presence in our families life. Mrs J would light up a room with her smile & laughter. My best memory of Mrs J was her kindness, sincerity, & her ability to make everyone around her feel loved & happy! She will be missed, but the memories of Mrs. J live on. Condolences from the Freeman’s.
