Beatrice L. Robertson, 76

Beatrice Lucile Robertson, 76, of Mountville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 16, 2009 after passing away in Charlotte, NC. She was born in Mobile, Alabama to the late Charlie and Margret (Johns) Boyd.

Her husband Cecil Ugene Robertson passed away in 1988.

Beatrice was a cook for most of her life at Brookly Fields Air Force Base.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Beatrice enjoyed cooking for her large family, traveling, dancing, shopping, getting dressed up, and vacationing.

Surviving is son, Ledell Boyd, husband of Ceola, of Alabama, son Cecil C. Robertson Jr., husband of Janice, of North Carolina, daughter Bessie Hinton of Mountville, companion of Derrick L. Brundage of West Philadelphia, son Willie Robertson, husband of Gualupe, of Lancaster, son Jimmie Robertson, of Harrisburg, daughter Annie Gilkes, wife of Nicolas, of California, daughter Beatrice Plowden, companion of Jonathan Miller, of Leola, daughter Juanita Robertson, companion of Roshe Robinson, of Lancaster, son Jemiral Robertson, of Delaware, and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a sister Minnie Montgomery, of Alabama. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 148 Locust St. Lancaster, PA on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 9am with Rev. Roland Forbes Officiating. A viewing will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA on Sunday, August 23 from 6-8pm. Interment will take place from Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
