Arthur W. Fitzkee, Sr.
Anna Mary and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. It is always hard to find the right things to say at a time like this, so I will reflect on some memories that I have. The main one that I recall is the red Ford pick-up that he had. When he wasn’t working on it, he was washing and polishing it. I remember that after I started driving and when I would have a problem with my car, I could always knock on the door and ask Art what might be wrong with it. More often than not, he would come outside and check the problem and either fix it or tell me how to and even let me use his tools. He never said that he was too busy, tired or that he didn’t want to be bothered, he would just put on his shoes or slippers and say let’s go take a look. Art was always willing to help you if he could. It may seem strange, but I was just thinking of Art and Anna Mary last week and wondering if they still resided in Landisville. The Lord will see you through this time of sorrow and keep you strong.
