Anthony F. Cioffi, Jr., 55

July 09, 2014

Anthony F. Cioffi, Jr., 55, of Leola, passed away unexpectedly from cardiac arrest on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was born on December 18th, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Anthony F. Cioffi, Sr. and Rose (Moschella) Cioffi.

Anthony was a highly respected business professional in the information technologies field. He started as an industrial engineer in Fairchild Republic’s Aerospace Division, then moved on to Northrop Grumman. Here he met his future wife Rena, with whom he moved to Lancaster County to raise a family. In his part-time, he also greatly enjoyed teaching Programming as an adjunct instructor at both Queensboro College and Penn State Harrisburg. While he held many positions over his 30+ career, his true occupation was a Professional Daddy, who loved every second with his family. His strong interest in world affairs and justice granted him friends near and far.

Anthony enjoyed collectibles, history, cinema, and being in the outdoors with his beloved beagles.

Anthony will be sorely missed by his surviving spouse Rena, daughter Noreen, son Peter, and mother Rose.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Dearest heartbroken children of God,
I am so deeply sorry for your incredible loss…there are no words to try to heal your pain, I can only offer you words of hope that through God’s grace and goodness He will hold you, and compassionatly weep with you.  I pray armies of angels will come to your sides, raise you up and help you to be strong in the hours and days ahead.  My prayer for you is that you may find strength with each new sunrise and the ability to see hope that rests in the promise of each setting sun…the promise that God will never leave you.  With deepest sympathy… Jayne Leh
