Anna Mary Biser Fee, 94

Anna Mary Biser Fee, 94, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013. She was born on April 14, 1918, during a spring snowstorm in the Razorback Mountains of Mineral County West Virginia. Her Parents, George E. Biser and Madora Lee Welch Biser, lived in an eight room log home built in 1831 by her Great Grandfather. She grew up with her Sister Wilda Biser Miller and Brother Talbot Biser in a house filled with music and art. Both Siblings have preceded her in death.

When Anna was two, her Mother and baby Brother John died from childbirth complications. The Family moved to Berkeley Springs, WV where Anna went to school and graduated as Salutatorian of her class. She moved to Washington, DC and worked at the S. S. Kresge Store, where she met her future husband John Francis Fee. After serving in WWII, they moved to his hometown of Pittston Pa, where they raised their four Daughters; Barbara, Maureen, Teresa and Kathleen. After the death of John in 1994, Anna lived in Lititz, Pa with her daughter Kathleen and spent her last few years being cared for at the Denver PA Nursing Home sharing her artwork, smiles and sweet nature with everyone.

We sadly say goodbye to a sweet soul. She will be greatly missed by her son-in-laws Shaun Sheehan, Augustus Mosca, Jason Goodman, Sloan Winters, and by her Grandchildren, Alicia (Mosca) and Robbie Trescavage, Augustus Mosca, Brendan and Katherine Sheehan, Shaun P. Sheehan, Aaron and Jordan Winters.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11 AM Saturday, January 12, 2013, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston, PA, with Msgr. John J. Bendik as Celebrant. A Viewing will be held 10:30-11 AM on Saturday at the church. Interment in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.
