Angeline Coluzzi Stathopulos, 90

Angeline Coluzzi Stathopulos, 90, of Lancaster died Thursday at Hospice Essa Flory Center.

For many years she was a store manager and buyer for a women’s apparel shop in Lancaster owned by her dear friend, Sara Kittle.  She was a long time faithful member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.  She resided at Lancaster House South for over twenty years and had many friends there.  Her good friend, Doris, was a comfort to her and we want to acknowledge her for caring for Angie and being her “coffee buddy”.

We, her family, want to thank the staff at Lancaster General Hospital, ICU Surgical Unit, IICU and 4 Lime for their compassionate care during her last weeks of life.

We are particularly grateful to everyone at Hospice of Lancaster County, In Patient Care.  Their ministry of professional and spiritual support sustained us in her last days.

Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late Florido and Loretta DiClementi Coluzzi.  She was married to the late George H. Stathopulos.

The focus of her life was always her family.  Angie (Nana) took particular delight in her great grandchildren.

Surviving is a daughter; Loretta married to Robert L. Garrett; three grandchildren; Tracey, Elizabeth, Jennifer; three great grandsons; Cameron, Stewart, Connor; three great granddaughters; Afton, Brooke, Kendall; one sister; Ann Segro; three sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers; John and Bruno Coluzzi.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 119 S. Prince St., Lancaster on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 10:00am.  Interment will be held at a later time in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

If you would like to honor Angie’s (Nana’s) memory you may send a donation in her memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604 and/or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
