Andrew J. Hillier, 83, retired personnel director/ soft line merchandiser
Shippensburg, PA- A five years resident of Shippensburg, following a great number of years in residence on Cape Cod in Yarmouth Port, MA died Friday at Green Ridge Village Senior Living Facility. His beloved wife Margaret T. (Murphy) Hillier predeceased him by 21 years. Mr. Hillier was born in Passaic, NJ and had a long career working for Montgomery Wards and finally Puritan Clothing of Cape Cod.
Surviving are a son, the Rev. David Hillier, Pastor of Our Lady of the Visitation Church, Shippensburg and Catholic Campus Minister at Shippensburg University; a daughter Patricia DiSturco, a school librarian in the West Seneca, NY School System; she and her husband reside in Williamsville NY. There are three grandchildren and two great grandsons who survive.
A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church, Shippensburg at 11:00AM on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. There are no calling hours and burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to Our Lady of the Visitation Church, 305 N. Prince Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
