I remember when Mr.Lumsden personally intervewed me for employment almost 35 years ago. He was willing to take a chance to fellow veteran who was in need of employment. He was always professional as he toured the shop, but always greeted me in some small way. Art, may the peace of God be with you & family. Al Lundgren

Al was a man of foresight, drive and entrepreneurial spirit.   What was and is perhaps most unique is the family atmosphere he fostered at Lumsden Corporation.  He was a compassionate leader.  I will miss his occasional visits to my office to discuss the business.  His passion for the company never waned, even as he grew older.  My condolences to the Lumsden family.  Jeff Beck

Mr. Lumsden was always a joy to talk to as he walked through the company. He always said good morning. I enjoyed hearing about his day.  I admired his love for his Grandsons as he visited each one every morning and calling them when he was not in town. He will be missed around the office.
