Adelia L. “Dell” Peretti, 85
Adelia L. “Dell” Peretti, 85, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at St. Anne’s Retirement Community, where she had been residing. She had previously resided at Oak Leaf Manor in Millersville.
She was the wife of the late Carl C. Peretti, who passed away in 2003. Born in Smock, Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Nazzareno and Maria Orsini Sabatini.
Dell had been cosmetologist, owning and operating her own shop for many years on High St. Following this, she worked for her sister as a stylist at her beauty shop.
A very generous woman, she enjoyed helping others. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, baking and cooking.
Dell was a member of St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Guys and Dolls.
She is survived by her son, Carl D. Peretti of Lancaster; her siblings Melvina Rohrer of Lancaster, Josephine married to Mike Hudik of Smock, Erma married to Robert Bilko of Colonial Heights, OH, Dolores married to Victor Kordella of Smock, and Nick married to Opal Sabatini of Uniontown; and by her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings : Laura, Mike, Jimmy, Jill and Adario.
Friends will be received on Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 10-11AM at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA 17601, with the Mass to follow at 11AM, the Revs. Peter Hahn and Peter Peretti concelebrating. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
