Lucille Getz Lacy, born in Mahanoy City, Pa., died at Willow Valley on Dec.31, 2006. Lucille, also known as Aunt Lou and Lucy to family and friends, was a 26-year widow to Jerome F. Lacy, Sr. She spent her adult years in New York City saying "I got my education from the New York Times." During the war, she spent Saturday mornings as a USO hostess organizing orchestra and restaurant entertainment for the soldiers on leave. She met her husband while working at Continental Can and together they moved to Long Island where Jones Beach became a haven for family gathering and relaxation. She loved to sew, golf, bowl, cook and entertain. She also loved to travel with Williamsburg, Virginia and Florida as favorite destinations. She lived at Willow Valley Lakes Manor for over 19 years, participating in many senior activities and was best known as a volunteer at the Blind Bid Sales.

Five daughters, Kim Lam Dien, wife of Binh Dien, Lancaster; Cammy Hang, wife of Kenny Hang, Harrisburg; Jade Tang, Lancaster; Hue Thieu Lam, Lancaster; Lang Thuy Lam, Lancaster. He was predeceased by a daughter, Tran Tieu Lam. He is also survived by three grandsons, Paul Dien, Peter Lam, and Kelvin Lam. Eight granddaughters, Linda Lam, wife of Tony Li, Connie Tang, Crissy Tang, Crystal Tang, Kelly Lam, Amanda Lam, Taylor Lam, Tiffany Lam, and Samantha Lam. Two great grandchildren, Alex Li and Kaylee Li. Two brothers, Tan Hong Lam, California, and Yan Hong Lam, China. A viewing will be held at Charles F. Shirley M. Long, 79, died at her home in Lancaster on Thursday, November 19, 2009. She was married to Robert H. Long for 60 years. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Catherine Hiltz Gerstly. Shirley worked as a hostess at the former S & H Green Stamps Store in Lancaster for 18 1/2 years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lancaster. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved the Phillies. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Robert H., Jr., husband of Nettie Long of Orlando, FL and Brian D. Long of Lancaster; her daughter Gail P. Charles Edward Lusk left this earth December 14, 2008. He had the privilege of passing away at home with family. He was born August 4, 1938 in Columbia, PA. He was the only son of the late Garland and Dorothy Lusk. He graduated from Columbia High School in 1956 and enjoyed playing on various sport teams. After high school he served his country by joining the Air Force for 4 years. He proudly graduated from York Junior College with an Associates degree and then graduated from Elizabethtown College with a BS degree in 1969. Throughout his work career, he worked for RCA, Warner-Lambert, Yellow Freight and Kellogg's. He also had several entrepreneurial pursuits and businesses. He was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Lititz, the International Grain Miller's Union, National Rifle Association, and Lancaster Treasure Hunter's Club. He loved raising pigeons and had a passion for Volkswagens and the Bull Terrier Rescue Club. He enjoyed nature and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He appreciated history and was a great adventurer: from archeology to scuba diving for treasures to wilderness hunting expeditions and searching for silver in Mexico. He will be remembered for his love and dedication to his children's successes, determination, perseverance and his ability to dream big. Charles was married 45 years to Nancy Spangler, his loving wife who took care of him through his illness to the end. He is survived by his lovely wife Nancy Marie, his daughter, Anne M. Lusk of Lititz, wife of Kenneth G. Berkenstock and grandsons, Kenneth D. Berkenstock and Matthew R. Berkenstock, his daughter, Susan of Lititz, wife of Craig Stafford and grandsons Alexander Stafford and Shaun Stafford, his son, David C. Lusk of Lititz, husband of Margaret Lusk and grandson Jarod Lusk and granddaughter Carissa Lusk, and his son Thomas E. Lusk of Etters, husband of Mary Ellen Lusk and grandson Joshua and granddaughter Jedda.
