Barbara C.
Winn, 84, formerly of Williamstown, MA, died Saturday, November
19, 2011 at The Mennonite Home, Lancaster, PA. Her husband of 62
years Alfred J. Winn died last January. Born in Williamstown, MA,
she was the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Jennings
Carey.
She worked as
a secretary for Williams College for many years in the English
Department and the Roper Public Research Center. Barbara was also
a secretary for the town of Williamstown.
After Barbara
retired she delivered Meals on Wheels in Adams and North Adams MA
for several years.
Barbara
leaves a son and daughter, Michael J., husband of Nancy Winn of
Lancaster, PA and Jean E., wife of Durlin Lunt of Northeast
Harbor, ME. Also three grandsons, Nathan C. Winn of Newport Beach,
CA, Graham M. Winn of Denver, CO and Jeremy J. Lunt of Los
Angeles, CA.
Services and
interment in Williamstown, MA will be announced at a later date.
