To Barb and Mary,
I am deeply sorry about the loss of your mother. Im glad I had
the opportunity to take care of your mom for she became a very
close and dear friend to me. We had many wonderful times and
those times will be cherished in my heart forever. I enjoyed her
sense of humor and will remember her laughter. We had some great
talks and some wonderful laughs. Her compassion for others was a
quality that made her so unique. I loved her like my own and she
will be greatly missed. She was very lucky to have the two of
you in her life. She loved you so very much. May the love of
your mother live on in your memories and let it bring peace to
your heart.
Barb and Mary,
Your mother was my favorite teacher at Sacred Heart. She had so
much patience with me and my "loquacious" personality. My
mother is at the Mennonite home and I wish I would have known
your mother was there so I could've visited her.
Peace to you both during this time of sorrow.
Fondly,
Mary Lynn (Hobday) DiPaolo
To Mary and Barbara,
I was very sorry to hear of your Mother's death. She and I
worked together for many years at St. Anthony's School when we
both worked for IU 13. We had lots of fun together and she was
very devoted to the children that she taught. We lost touch
after I moved from Lancaster in 1990, but I will always have
fond memories of the times we spent together. She always spoke
so lovingly of you both and your brother, and she treasured all
the times you were together.
I extend my deepest sympathy to you at this time of your loss.
Sincerely, Jane Williams
Barb & Mary,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Mrs. Wetzel,
as I have always known her was my teacher way back when. God
bless her I gave her a hard time, as I was child with ADD that
they didn't diagnose way back then. I remember spending time
under her desk as a child. Mind you they are not horror
stories....I have only fond memories of your mother. I imagine
that she was just so frustrated with me, she didn't know which
way to turn. But as I remember we had a bond way back then. She
was such a kind heart!!
I again ran into her in my 40's at a grocery store. After
explaining who I was she said of course how could I ever forget
you!!!! She was like a breath of fresh air!!!
Once again I send my condolences to you both and your
families. She was a treasure and will be greatly missed by those
of whom she had touched during her life. May God keep her in his
loving arms and give you strength during your time of need. And
thank you for sharing your mother with so many of us!!!

Barb & Mary, Please accept my heartfelt
sympathy on the loss of your beloved mother. Had I known of your
loss, (only occasionally do I look at the daily paper online), I
would have come to the service. Barb, you can't know how often
I've thought about you. If you have Internet access, I'm on
Facebook, and would absolutely love to hear from you!
Your LCHS/Kutztown friend,
