Francina Walker, 49, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Doris E. Walker of Lancaster and the late Charles W. Walker.

She was a graduate of Overbrook High School in Philadelphia. Francina had previously worked as a nurse assistant for West Chester Arms Nursing Home.

In addition to her mother, Francina is survived by her daughter Leah S. Walker and grandson Javon A. Walker both of Layton, Utah, her sister Jan C., wife of Warren Bond of Philadelphia, her brothers Winston W. Walker of Lancaster and Louis S., husband of Allison Walker of Philadelphia and her companion Mark Riddick of Lancaster.

The Funeral will be held 11 AM Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA, with Rev. William Walker officiating. A Viewing will take place from 10-11 AM at the funeral home on Wednesday. Interment will take place 11 AM Thursday, October 5, 2011 in Merion Memorial Park, 59 W. Rock Hill Rd., Bala Cynwid, PA.
