 Sharon L. Shope-Heisler, 53, of
Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Hospice
of Lancaster, Mount Joy. She was born in Lancaster to the late
Ward A. and Joan L. (LaCount) Shope.
She is survived by a husband,
David W. Heisler of Lancatser. They were married on July 11, 1981.
Sharon was a certified nurse for
American Medical Laboratories (AML) and various hospitals in
Lancaster.
She was a member of Redeemer
Lutheran Church.
Surviving in addition to her
husband, is a daughter, Sherrie L. Pope, former wife of Brian C.,
of Lancaster, two grandchildren, Kirsten and Austin Pope, sister,
Sandra Winkleman, of Mountville, a half brother, Ward A. Shope,
Jr., of Lancaster, and many nieces and nephews. A sister Shirley
Kuhns preceded her in death.
Funeral Services
will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
made in Sharon’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
