Bertie M. Flear Sangrey,85, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the Essa Flory Hospice Center.

Born in Lancaster, she is the daughter of the late Albert J. and Eleanor Dietz Flear.

Bertie is survived by a son, Richard C. Sangrey; a daughter Rosemarie married to David F. Germeyer; a granddaughter Lisa M. married to Kevin E. Shaud and a great granddaughter Amber Morris. She is also survived by two sisters, Rosemary Dinkel and Joann Garnet.

Bertie retired from Armstrong World Industries and the Sears Corporation.

She enjoyed reading, working a crossword puzzle and spending time with friends and family.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 10-11AM at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA, with the Mass to follow at 11AM, the Rev. Peter Hahn as Celebrant. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
